Beginner Pilates

Beginner Pilates is designed for the individual who is new to Pilates.  In this
class you will learn the fundamentals on which to build your practice. This
class is built for those who think they “can’t,” and will focus on the basic
movements of Pilates. Modifications will be given for those with physical
limitations. With focus on correct movement and breath you will work your
entire body feeling centered and refreshed. This class is a great way to start
and to watch the transformation in how you look, and more importantly,
how you feel.

Pilates Arc Barrel

Pilates Arc Barrel will directly focus on the Arc Barrel to balance all muscle groups’ strength and flexibility, with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles with each exercise. Classes will blend the STOTT PILATES® Method with slight variations using other props and weights. Modifications will be suggested for beginners or for those with physical limitations. Pilates Arc Barrel is a challenging yet safe method to sculpt your body, increase agility, and give you balance in your everyday life.

Pilates Power Mat

Pilates Power Mat is geared towards lengthening and strengthening your muscles, turning your core from weak to sleek, and even rehabbing old injuries. This popular mind-body workout is fast paced yet not intimidating. Some props and equipment will be used to intensify the workout. Modifications will be introduced as needed. You will leave this class feeling aligned, strengthened, and above all refreshed.

Pilates Conditioning for Dancers

Using Pilates, the dancer is exposed to a broad range of material focusing on muscle control, breathing techniques, imagery and postural alignment to strengthen the entire body. There is emphasis on range of motion, as well as intensive work on abdominal muscles. Pilates Conditioning for Dancers provides an encouraging, informative environment for the advanced ballet student to work on the foundational exercises of the Pilates technique with additional focus on the body of a dancer.

Private Pilates Appointment

Take the opportunity to invest in yourself!  Indulge in a 50-minute private Pilates appointment with STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor Brooke Holvick, that will challenge your mind-body awareness as well as strengthen your entire body through a combination of exercises involving the Mat, Reformer, Chair, and Cadillac. Personal attention will be paid to each client’s individual needs. A workout will be developed specifically for you paying close attention to the detailed analysis taken at your first visit. INSANITY®

This is a 50-minute version of the very popular home exercise program from Beachbody. Insanity is a challenging total body workout using body weight exercises to create long intervals of high-intensity activity, followed by short recovery periods. This concept of max interval training is an efficient way to improve cardiovascular health, lose weight, and increase metabolism. Modifications will be offered to accommodate all levels, but you will always be encouraged to push yourself to your own personal best.
